Dave McCormack - News

David McCormack is playing at Rics Bar in Brisbane on April 12th.

He is also hard at work mixing a long awaited new album, the follow up to To Truth About Love LP from 2004.

Faster Louder have a review up of Dave's show at the Powerhouse in Brisbane in mid February.

I recently uploaded two old Custard videos for your viewing pleasure.  The first is a performance of Anatomically Correct live on Recovery in 1997.  The second is a dodgy interview between Custard and Molly Meldrum on 'The Drum' in 1999.  Both videos are culled from the giant Stalkerbait compilation I put together in 2006-07.  I am currently looking for new footage to make a second  Stalkerbait bonus disc (I am about 3/4 of the way there at the moment).  If you have any Custard or other McCormack footage lying around (be it on VHS, DVD, MP4, anything) that isn't already on the compilation please send me an email.  If you provide footage, I'll hook you up with a copy of what will be a 14 disc set containing about 25 hours worth of music videos, rare TV and live performances.  Here is the tracklisting for the first 13 discs.

Custard Spaces by the side of the road

I recently came across a rare recording of Dave McCormack and Frente covering Hallelujah.  You can download it here (scroll down to the 'Other B-Sides and Rarities' section).  Also, you can listen to a Dave McCormack podcast here.

I have added links to some recent interviews and reviews to the press clippings page.

FYI Dave McCormack guest-hosted Rockwiz in late January.  The episode was available for streaming for a week on the RockWiz website, but has since been removed.

And finally, if you haven't already go and pick up a copy of latest CD Cassingle and the Custard DVD before they are deleted.  You can buy Cassingle online from Play4me (CD version) or from itunes.
